May Sennett Proprietor of Latrobe Valley Travel since 1991, May Sennett has worked in the travel industry for almost 30 years. This experience provides her with a vast industry network and a knowledge base that is second to none. Whilst May originally trained as a travel agent with Qantas Airways in Melbourne, to maintain her knowledge and expertise, since then she has completed many travel industry and business management courses. This has enabled Latrobe Valley Travel to remain a leading travel agency, with May keeping abreast and often ahead of, the many and varied changes that have taken place in the travel industry. May’s travel knowledge is extensive. She has first hand experience in all modes of transport, having travelled in many types of aircraft (including helicopters), by train, ferry, ship, as well as undertaking leisure cruises and camping holidays. During her travels, May has had the opportunity to evaluate many of the world’s leading coach operators and stay at a diverse range of accommodation. This includes all grades of hotels, motels, resorts, boarding houses, caravan parks, Cabins, and B&B homes. May has travelled to many of the world’s major destinations including: America ; Canada ; New Zealand ; Throughout Australia U.K. & Europe Asia South America The Pacific
Kim Snape Following several overseas childhood holidays, Kim became ‘hooked’ on travel with a goal of having a career in the travel industry. Commencing in the Travel industry in 1998, Kim completed a Certificate in Travel Consultancy via the International Correspondence School in July 1999. Kim’s travels have taken her to many destinations including: The United Kingdom, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, America, Bali, Singapore and the South Pacific, as well as destinations throughout Australia. In her travels, Kim has undertaken coach tours, been on cruises, staying at a range of accommodation from home stays and camping to international resorts. Graeme Sennett Working part time for Latrobe Valley Travel, Graeme has a wide range of travel experience and is responsible for the strategic planning and marketing of the agency. Graeme has not only travelled to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Singapore, Phuket, Hong Kong, New Zealand, America and the Pacific Islands, but from his experiences, has produced several travel guides to assist Latrobe Valley Travel clients. An active member of the Morwell community, Graeme is currently President of Morwell Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Graeme has a Bachelor of Business Degree with majors in Management and Marketing.
